The 2020 festival will run from Friday 28 February to Sunday 8 March.
6 - 8 March is what is known as the 'big weekend', with the Grand Parade and grape crushing fun.

What is it?
The Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Harvest Festival (official organisation name: Stanthorpe Festival Association Inc.) is one of Queensland’s longest running and most successful Festivals! Voted Queensland’s 9th favourite Iconic Event/Festival during the Queensland Q150 Celebrations, the Festival is a “must do” on the Queensland events calendar.
The biennial festival is a celebration of the Granite Belt region’s produce and booming wine industry. An average of 60,000 people attend the festival and this is arguably Australia’s leading harvest festival having a successful track record spanning five decades.

Where is it?
It’s in Stanthorpe, heart of the Granite Belt Wine Region, on the New England Highway just north of the NSW border. Stanthorpe is less than three hours drive from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Byron, Armidale, Dalby and Goondiwindi, a bit more from the Sunshine Coast, two hours from Lismore and the Northern Rivers, and a comfortable two hours from Toowoomba.
Who does it attract?
Age is no barrier with the Festival which has a strong reputation for offering ‘something for everyone’. The Festival has become popular for all age groups with the major grouping in the 18-35 bracket.
With the districts successful wine, tourism, produce and horticulture industries, the potential crowd attraction of this Festival is significant and growing.
