Banchetto Italiano (Italian Banquet)

Join the fun as we celebrate the Granite Belt’s Italian Heritage at this Italian long lunch – Banchetto Italiano!

This event which was new to last festival, is returning by popular demand and doubling in size in a bigger venue – the Civic Centre.  The lunch again promises to deliver a fun-filled afternoon of food, wine, fun and entertainment.

Local chefs will prepare a delicious banquet of Italian food, while a full program of entertainment will fills the stage and the whole room with a celebration atmosphere. Traditional performances of Italian music will be sure to have you singing and dancing along and a highlight will be the performance of the Italian folk dance, the Tarantella.

The Italian folk brought so much knowledge of horticulture to the Granite Belt over the years and have been integral to making Stanthorpe the food and wine destination that it now is. So join us in celebrating this heritage with a food, wine and fun! Come on your own, or bring some friends along and make a table booking.
