The Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Harvest Festival is one of Queensland’s longest running and most successful Festivals!
'CRUSHING IT' SINCE 1966!
The festival has been entertaining with it's harvest celebrations for an incredible 53 years. The iconic grape crush events are a must-see... a lot of messy fun!
Voted one of Queensland’s top 10 favourite Festivals during the Queensland Q150 Celebrations, the Festival is a “must do” on the Queensland events calendar.
What's on?
The Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Harvest Festival on every two years and celebrates the harvest of all produce from the Granite Belt Region!
Held over 10 days it attracts tens of thousands of visitors. Visitors can enjoy discovering local food and wine, see the grand parade, cheer on the Celebrity Grape Crushing Championship, compete in the golf, or test their endurance in the Mt Marlay Marathon or the Storm King Dam Bike Ride.
If you want something more laid back, there is Busking Championships, relaxing at the Food, Wine & Cultural Fiesta in the park, Apple Day, an Italian Long Lunch, markets and more.
Where is it?
It’s in Stanthorpe, heart of the Granite Belt Wine Region, on the New England Highway just north of the NSW border. At 800 to 1,200 metres altitude it's Queensland's cool high country and ideal for growing apples and grapes!
Stanthorpe is Queensland's premier wine growing region with 40+ cellar doors and it's where all of Queensland's apples are grown!
Reach Stanthorpe less than three hours drive from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Armidale, Dalby and Goondiwindi and two hours from Toowoomba.
